So there was a roundtable on HBO last night hosted by Bob Costas and dealing with sports media. One topic covered was The Blog (duh duh duhhhhh). On the right: Buzz Bissinger, vocal critic of blogs. Feed Advertising October 17th, 2007 RSS feeds have long been a location for advertisement for commercial products or services. Innovator s Dilemmas: real options in R&D? (3)
Traditional valuation techniques often fail to capture or adequately quantify the value created by technology initiatives ( ) Anyone who has tried to measure the value of a technology investment has, at some point, discovered the difficulty of presenting a compelling business case using standard techniques like net present value (NPV) or return on investment (ROI). cybersoc stats for april 2008
Below are the visitor statistics for cybersoc.com, as reported by statcounter (and let’s not even start debating their validity!) There were 6,046 “unique visitors”, generating a total of 7,264 page loads. That’s an average of 202 daily unique visitors and 242 average page loads. Feed Advertising
Feed Advertising October 17th, 2007 RSS feeds have long been a location for advertisement for commercial products or services. A good example is the feed-powered advertising model on Gabe Rivera s popular news tracking site Techmeme. Although not new at the time (CNET, nooked, Pheedo, Feedburner and others had done this before) this

Poker: Sport or not a sport? Professional poker must be considered a sport becasue there are millions of players all over the world playing various forms. Professional players actually earn a living by playing poker, much like other athletes. Although it can be debated that the game may be played by anyone in almost any situation, one could argue that given the materials, any sport could be played by anyone at any place and time. There is also the argument that sports require an athletic activi

RSB’s RSS feeds
How do you read ReadySteadyBook’s blog? Via RSS? RSB has a number of different feeds.
